Teaching Experience: Conservatory of Jazz, Living Jazz (Jazz Camp and Jam Camp), Private lessons, San Francisco Unified School District, etc. I teach PreK (early ed music) to adult in both group and private lessons.  School residencies: bucket drumming, rhythm notation, group PreK–5th grade.  Adult classes on private instrument learning and Pandeiro.

Teaching Style/Philosophy: “I believe in teaching not just about the music or instruments but also in learning about the cultural relevance of the music, history and genre. I enjoy talking about different settings and how to play in them (i.e., a samba school vs. jazz quartet).”
