Brian Andres ● Drum Set, Afro-Cuban Percussion

Teaching Experience: I currently have a private teaching practice with (pre covid) up to 35 students a week. I also teach in numerous in school and after school percussion programs. I have taught master classes and clinics at both the collegiate level and in retail store appearances. I was on staff in 2019 for the CSU Summer Arts Caribbean Jazz Course at Fresno State. I have written a Master Class Article for Downbeat Magazine, and was a monthly contributing writer for DRUM! Magazine from 2018-2020.

Teaching Style/Philosophy: “There are certain basic skills that all drummers must possess regardless of what style of music they play. The mastery of those skills is the foundation of my teaching practice, while keeping in mind each student's individual needs and goals.”
