Teaching Experience: I have 35 years experience in the Bay Area teaching one-on-one jazz guitar lessons as well as music theory for all instruments. I’ve taught mostly out of my home. My students have ranged from 7 to 70 years of age. I’ve also coached ensembles from time to time.

Teaching Style/Philosophy: “My goal is to demystify music terminology and unlock the process of improvisation. I also strive to help each student find his or her unique voice and to impart an understanding and appreciation of the rich history of Jazz, America’s classical music.”
