Teaching Experience: I have 9 private students, and am currently teaching a class at the California Jazz Conservatory. I have taught music, and am the co-director of music curriculum at the San Francisco Waldorf High School. In addition, I have taught workshops on improvisation and performance internationally.

Teaching Style/Philosophy: “I work to ensure the student has a firm grasp of the basics of musicianship - tone, sound production; harmony - scales, chords, intervals; rhythm - meter, tempo, pulse, etc; sight reading; ear training; theory, composition, improvisation.”
