Teaching Experience: United for Success Academy, Oakland CA. Middle School / ages 11 to 13. Group session that incorporated sharing the application of Jazz as Social Justice in a Jazz Trio Expression, Q&A with students regarding music education, application, democracy as full time musicians. Selected students played onstage with rhythm section on harp learning improvisation/eye hand coordination.

Teaching Style/Philosophy: My main desire is to assist the student in creating the sound they hear in their head. To do that I begin with the essentials.
